Sep 8, 2009 - "Give a Man a Fish, Feed Him For a Day. Teach a Man to Fish, Feed Him For a Lifetime"

As what the title said, We are going to fish today hence we wake up pretty at around 6 Am in the morning. The weather was pretty cold and I think its the start of the change in the weather. We brought our fishing rod and started to find a nice fishing spot. After walking around the university, we found a pathway along the yangtze river near the university.

We settled down and get ready to fish. Here are some fishing techniques that we use to fish

Method 1 : Normal Fishing Method

Method 2 : Put the fishing rod on the ground and wait until it knock down the water bottle to indicate the fish has eaten the bait

Method 3: Put the fishing rods at the tree's trunk and wait for the fish to eat the bait

Despite all the methods, We did not catch any fish even after we waited for two hours. Hence, we decided to observe the locals on how to catch the fish.

Step 1 : You need a special fishing rod to catch fish here

Step 2: You need a stand to put your fishing rod

--------------------------------------
Step 3: You need to use bait.The bait that this guy used was earthworms.

Step 4: Create a fish food that will be used to attract the fish under the water

There is also another secret ingredients added inside

Step 5: Throw the fish food near the bait to lure the fish towards your bait

Step 6 : Relax yourself and wait until the fish eat the bait

Last but not least, once the fish eat the bait pull the fishing rod upwards

However, we did not wait long enough until the guy caught the fish. We went back to our bunk and spend our daily routines

As the night falls, we decided to buy ice cream. These ice cream are unique, I bought a watermelon flavour while Ming Yu Bought the corn's flavour.

Reflection:From today fishing trip, i believe patience is a virtue. Sometimes we tend to rush into doing all the things but in the end, we realise it was not nicely done. Thus, we should think what we really want before we act or else we will eventually regret our rush decision. Fishing is one of the sport which can train our patience. With patience, we tend to see things more accurately and handle things in more calm manner. Imagine if we were careless and get angry easily, we will cause a lot of discomfort to people around us. Hence, patience is one of the most important thing in our daily life.
