Sep 10, 2009 - The day that my laptop died on me

Today is the unluckiest day of my life. I woke up and tried to on my laptop but the laptop seem did not able to start up. After a few attempt of restarting my laptop, it did not show any sign of starting up and soon i realize that my laptop has died on me. I feel very sad as i have five weeks left in Wuhan and i unable to play or do my assignment properly. After that, I called Mr.Joseph Loh to ask how to fix my laptop and he will contact me about more details tomorrow. After that we went for our lunch at the western restaurant outside and i ordered the beef steak. It was very cheap as it cost only 18 rmb. After our lunch we rush to our classroom for our lesson. After the lesson, we went back to our bunk to take a rest for the day.

Reflections: From today's event, i realized that life are filled with many changes. We need to prepare for unforeseen circumstances like what happened today as we will not know what will happen the next minute. I also realized that even though these changes are unpredictable, we have no choice but to accept what it is. With friends' help, we will be able to overcome these challenges and share the difficulties together. Special thanks to my friends, chongsian and roy for lending me their laptops so that i am able to complete my assignments on time.
