Sep 28, 2009 - The Factory Visit

Today, we wake up in the morning for our usual BPE lesson. We went to our usual classroom and had our lesson there. After the lesson, we have a factory visit to a pharmacy industry. We took the bus there and the bus ride was about half an hour. Once we reached the factory, we being showed around the factory. However due to high security system, we were unable to see most of the processes. After looking through the factory, it is time for us to come back to our bunk. We took the bus back and rest at our bunk for the rest of the day.

Reflection: From today factory visit, I realise how well the China’s factory able to keep their security tight. We were not able to see the processes needed to manufactured the product and were not allowed to take some of the photos. I felt this is a good way to prevent people from copying their product and processes.
