Oct 6 and 7, 2009 - Exercise and Dinner at Grandocean

Oct 6 - Today, it is another day off for us. Most of us went to shop but I, Jarold and Roy decided to stay at our bunk to take a rest. It was a boring and slow day hence we decided to go down to the track field for some exercise! At the track field, we did some stretch and running. Jarold did 6 rounds of the track and we also played with the rope. After that, we went for dinner and take a rest for the day.

Oct 7 – Another day off once again, we eat our lunch at the wanton shop and bought a drink at the stall. After that we spend most of the time in our bunk until dinner time. During the dinner time, we decided to go to Grand Ocean for dinner. Over there, we eat at Ajisen Ramen and the food was delicious and cheap compared to the Singapore’s. After our wonderful meal, we did some shopping for some shoes. Well, I did not buy anything as there is nothing that I need. Once, we are done with the shopping, we went to starbucks for some drink and went back to our bunk after that.

Reflection: Exercise is good to train our body and mind. This is important during this time as the weather are slowly changing thus we are easily to get sick. By doing exercise, we are able to remove excess fats and oils in our body. On top of that, the food in china is oilier compared to the food we usually eat in Singapore. By doing simple exercises like running and even playing games, we were able to keep our body fit and refreshed. In conclusion, we should exercise once a while even thought it is tiring as it is better to be safe than sorry.
